Do you take an interest in your partner? Do you know what she enjoys? Do you understand what really turns her on? Do you know her favorite color or what makes her laugh/cry in a movie?

Once again, the things that may seem small and insignificant to us men will not be viewed that way by your partner. Once when I brought home a DVD to watch and said my wife that I knew she’d like it because it had her favorite actress in it and it was the type of movie that makes her laugh…in that moment I was the man, the most caring, understanding and thoughtful guy on the planet and she was lucky to have me. We didn’t get round to watching the movie that night…This is the effect this stuff has on women!

A great place to start is to write down all the significant dates in your lives - that you’re guilty of forgetting. There are plenty of great reminder systems that you can download onto your PC make it impossible to ever forget her birthday again! You may even ‘remember’ your mother-in-laws birthday too…

Find out what your partner is interested in and support her in doing new things and pursuing her interests. Maybe she wants to catch up with friends more often. It’s healthy in any relationship for the females to have a ‘girl’s night out’, and it’s just as important for the guys to have a men’s night.
